When choosing an edge banding or panel cutting machine, you should decide according to your daily usage, the capacity of your business and the edge module of the job you will do on the edge banding machine.

Daily cleaning, dusting, lubrication, checking the knives, checking the cleaning copyers, and cleaning the sawdust and PVC parts in the machine regularly. You must also check the pallet belt and wheels.

It should be noted that the life of your machine is directly related to its clean and regular use.

The air pressure must be constant and the air always clean and dry (moisture-free). A line should be run with a 1'' pipe at the appropriate flow rate (up to the machine side) according to the edge banding or panel cutting machine.

If there are fractures in the workpiece on the edge banding machine, if there are deformations in the milled edge band (PVC), if cuts and burns occur in the pieces cut on the panel sizing machine, and if the cutting sound changes, your cutting tools have become blunt.

You should routinely check the general dust cleaning of the panel cutting machine, the non-working parts, the saw group, the sensors and switches, and the moving parts.

The edge banding and panel cutting machine must first be opened from the main switch.

For shutting down, first switch off the industrial computer with the control panel, and once you are sure it is closed, turn off the main switch. These operations will extend the life of your machine.

You should choose the right glue according to the brand and model of glue you use on your edge banding machine. Then adjust the temperature values according to the working ambient temperature.

In case of temperatures other than the optimum values, you may experience problems in the banding process.

Because glue is a chemical substance, some erosion and particles can occur in the glue tank regardless of machine use. Considering optimum working conditions, the glue tank should be cleaned approximately every 6 months.

Because the postforming process depends on temperature, the smallest change in ambient temperature affects the result. Therefore, the working environment temperature of the material and the machine must be constant.

Because there are moving parts in the edge banding machine, the cabin doors should be kept closed for safety, to minimize noise and to keep the inside of the machine clean.

This is also important for occupational health and safety.
